American Locomotive Company (Alco) RS1 #1250 of the Minneapolis & St. Louis.
M&StL is famous for using ten different paint schemes (nine from the Alco factory and one later applied to a handful of units) on their fleet of thirty-five RS1s. The version featured on this mug represents the 2nd scheme which was used on fourteen different locomotives.
