Minneapolis & St. Louis RS1 #214, Post-1956

American Locomotive Company (Alco) RS1 #214, formerly #646, of the Minneapolis & St. Louis.

M&StL is famous for using ten different paint schemes (nine from the Alco factory and one later applied to a handful of units) on their fleet of thirty-five RS1s.  The version featured on this mug represents the final scheme which was, to the best of my knowledge, used on at least five different RS1s.

All 11oz and 15oz ceramic mugs are microwavable and dishwasher safe.  While they are very durable, they can be scratched by hard metal edges.  Avoid putting them next to silverware in the dishwasher.
