Electro-Motive Division (EMD) E7A #780 of the Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis. This mug features the original herald plate design which was replaced fairly quickly due to it blocking access through the nose door. The locomotive was assigned to the Georgian which was a jointly operated (with L&N) passenger train that ran between St. Louis and Atlanta in the middle part of the 20th century. The last leg of its journey, from Nashville to Atlanta, was on the NC&StL.
